I took an interest in Crocodiles in late 2021 and began observing and documenting their behaviour. Originally, this began with a drone, watching and filming the crocodiles behaviour became my favourite hobby. However, it became quickly apparent that crocodiles are bothered by the presence of a drone and I wasn't able to observe their behaviour as closely as I would have liked. So I invested in a Sonya7iii and began teaching myself the art of photography. My passion for crocodiles and photography naturally developed from there. I am a self taught photographer and aim to get the best possible photos of the iconic apex predators that I can. 

 

In 2022, I began getting involved in the conservation and protection side of the species. There are a lot of misconceptions and Australia is lacking in laws to protect this beautiful creature. I hope that being an advocate for the animals that I can create better awareness and safety in our waterways.

In early 2023 I became certified in handling crocodiles which gives me the ability to work up and close with these majestic animals. I have learnt all about the daily lives, and they're historical part in our ecosystem.

I try to share everything I have learnt and continue to learn about these amazing animals to hopefully spread more awareness and education.
